Why Upthrust?

I couldn’t find a time that my mind is clear enough to write a blog post since last month. Even though I have written some posts last couple of months, they were not very descriptive or not written well. For about a month I was in the dark, doing various things to come out of dark and thinking about refocusing my blog. So I decided to come up with new blog and throw away my old blog at mpathirage.com. I am planning to use it as my personal site, but the old posts will remain as it is.

Since last month I was involved in re-implementing Apache ODE’s Axis2 integration layer and had a very good start. But from the second week pressure push me in to the dark. Some times nothing came in to my mind when I want to redesign the integration layer. I did things slowly. I couldn’t find a time to blog and nothing came into my mind to blog about.

After 3 weeks from the start of re-implementing new integration layer I had to visit to London for a client project. Had good time at London and came back after two and half weeks. It takes 3 to 4 days to recover and start from where I left. I started the remaining parts of new integration layer. And in the recovery period I did a good thing; designing this blog and start it from the begining. So this is a result of my effort to come out of the emptyness of my mind.

This blog is the force that pushes me in to the light like the Upthrust that keeps things floating in the fluids.
